Jonathan Crosswaite189 days agoLovely cozy little pub, very friendly welcoming landlord. Had the steak and ale pie and ive got to say it was the best pie ive had in many a year. Big chunks of meat, lovely gravy and a great crust, only negative thing I can is that this pie has ruined the menu because ill never eat anything but that pie from now on, chips were great, proper old fashioned chip pan chips. paul garlick256 days agoWent to the pub for a meal 10/02/26 and wasn’t sure what to expect. WOW what an amazing experience, fire lit, music in the background, great staff and relaxing atmosphere. In relation to the food, I ordered the veggie burger and this was just fantastic. Warm and tasty and full of flavour. Tony Walker281 days agoWe called for a quick drink and ended up having a meal after a short time due to the delicious aroma emulating making our taste buds come alive. I had the famous Commercial burger topped off with double fried eggs which was unbelievable. My wife chose scampi which again looked fantastic and apparently was. My wife’s words 😁 All in all great atmosphere and a warm welcome along with lovely pub food at top quality. Would I return erm We’ll definitely but only for an hour for those that know 5 stars and above ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+1Posted on Google

With an excellent selection of well kept cask ales and a good selection of decent lager, cider and stout. The meals all home Cooked food by Emma is really good and can't be faulted and on top Of all that and the friendly service from Mark, Emma and their staff is second to none. The food and service were superb and everyone had a great night.
